One thing that sets me apart from my husband is my love of eating and enjoying good food. He on the other hand, only eats to live  For Father’s Day this year (also my husband’s first one as a dad), we went to try out the buffet dinner at The Spread. It’s a restaurant located on the 6th floor of The Gardens Hotel and Residences, Mid Valley. Equipped with an almost empty stomach to make room for the food (lol), we made our way at about 5.30-ish to avoid the buka puasa jam.
Reached Mid Valley at about 6-ish and parked at The Gardens mall. The buffet starts at about 7.30pm but we were a lil too early so we went to Robinsons to shop for a bit.

We were the first ones there lol I was super-duper famished!

One thing about this buffet dinner is that, they have variety which is really awesome. You can never go out ideas on what to take next. They have Japanese section- tempura was seriously crispy and delicious! The selection of sashimi was also lovely. At the Malay section, there were rendang, chicken kurma, kambing panggang (which was located outside, this was my favourite!) and also a section of local fruits.

Appetizers. I skipped this and went straight to the Japanese section because I was very hungry, remember? 

Japanese section. Look at the crispy tempura! Gosh I feel like eating them again now 

These you need to try out. Tastes fresh on its own as well as with the sauces.

This section is located outside. Make sure you get your kambing first before it runs out. (Cos it’s seriously good- tender and juicy!)

So many kuehs! And various types of dates you can eat if you choose to buka puasa here  They have choco dates too!

Ice cream station. This was the last thing I ate before feeling like I really need to gulp down Gaviscon. Haha.

This buffet dinner special is priced at RM145 nett per pax and it’s currently on-going until the 2nd of July. Furthermore, they also serve DURIAN on Wednesdays and Fridays.
