I remembered back when my daughter was a month old, I wished she grew up quickly because she needed me all the time and I had absolutely no time for anything. She wasn’t a good napper to begin with- once I put her down in her cot, she will automatically start crying. It was stressful and exhausting but I kept reminding myself that “this too, shall pass” like what all mothers said.

Now that she’s 5 months old…

…they grow up way too fast! My baby started to hate lying down all the time when she reached 4 months old. She wants to be held upright almost all the time and loves it when she’s seated on someone’s lap. This was quite tiring for me as I won’t be able to entertain her all the time and I had so many things that needed to be done.

Then the hunt for a perfect seat commenced. After a lot of Googling and feedback from mommy friends, I’ve decided to get this.

A good friend of mine has one and she speaks positive review about this seat (she also has the same colour lol). Recommended for 4+ months, this seat can be used on the floor by itself (just like a Bumbo) and also attached to a dining chair as a booster seat. The foam attached to the chair is easy to clean and can be taken out when baby gets bigger.

I’ve given solids to my daughter a week before she turned 5 months old. Her pediatrician, Dr Khoo of SJMC, recommended that I can start giving solids to her between 4-6 months. This seat is perfect for when I need to feed her because it can get very messy! I don’t need to spend a lot of time cleaning and wiping 🙂
